Hi. I am Nereda Haque, PMP and I started SmartPath LLC on May 1, 2007. At first I spent a considerable amount of time researching how to do business with Government and going to various training. We did acquire 2 Master Contracts with Washington State and one with King County (The largest county in WA). However, the economical tsunami hit, WA State had major fund shortages as did King County, so I needed to become more creative if SmartPath LLC was to have a future.
By the end of 2008 I also determined that there was a real need for project management training in Washington State that was local. Now we are local to Virginia, serving the DC Metro as well. Lots of companies come in and out of Washington and Virginia, only to leave in 4 to 5 days and they cannot provide the high quality local support that SmartPath LLC does on a day to day basis.
I conceived of PMP® Certification Training with Exam Prep (our largest seller) that could take a professional from zero training to a PMP® credential in about 10 days! That means that a trainee would only need to take one class instead of two!
Most companies who prepare people to take the PMP® Exam do not provide hands on framework instruction for their clients. They provide eLearning solutions and/or usually assign hours of training, with lots of study recommendations that have to be finished before coming to the Exam Prep training. This method of training breeds information overload and actually delays a person's ability to pass within a short period of time and creates more confusion. A percentage of these people show up for training totally unprepared to do the Exam Prep, because they did not understand the framework that it's based on in the first place. They needed a lot more help.
Another hiccup for Trainees: Most companies who offer PMP® Certification Training so they can get Exam approval, do not see it as their responsibility to provide the customer with the information they will need to pass the PMP® Exam. Not only does this make unhappy, disappointed customers, but many of them didn't know this at the time they joined their training.
At SmartPath LLC we devised exam focused training. We want people to come to class without the information overload so they can start training with a "clean slate," so they are not confused, and so that they can fully understand concepts, connections, context of questions and PM roles found throughout our materials. Our training allows an individual to come to class that is fully instructor led, 100% of the time, (onsite or via Live Video Conference) with zero training in project management. If trainees are preapproved to take the Exam because they have done some project management training, or similar training in the past, our trainees will take the Exam in 10 days or less. Many will also take the Exam early without any kind of prior training. When the trainee is willing to do our assignments after class, they will be ready to take the Exam the next day if they wish, although we think 3 days break is often a good idea so they are rested when they take it. Many who have large "gaps" in their experience take the PMP® Exam within 3 weeks. For the others, Life gets in their way. They get new projects, or they have a family crisis or something else gets them distracted, and they get side-swiped for a while. However, they usually come back after studying again, and before their 6 months of training is up, and they take the Exam soon after.
Because we understand the huge variables in experience, our training is such that a person can resit for up to 6 months from the first day of training either onsite (when room is available as it often is), or via 100% Live Online Video Conference.
We also review, free of charge, a potential trainee's resume to see if they would qualify to take the PMP® Exam after they complete the 35 hours of formal education required for Exam approval. And we review their PMI® application submission via PDF before they submit it for Exam approval, thus eliminating any potential delay.

Please get a return authorization number before returning any products. If you cancel an order after it has been shipped, return policies are the same as 100% money back satisfaction guarantee policies less shipping and handling.

PMP® Class Registration: If you cancel your PMP® Certification Training Class or any class 3 days in advance of the first day of training, you have 100% refund less $100 service fee or you can reschedule another class at another time at no loss to you. At that time you will be put on a waiting list, and advised of seat availability by at least the day before the class begins. We make every effort to help you schedule a resit and will confirm your request as soon as we can. You can resit one or more times. Although all classes are Guaranteed to Run, this is only possible if someone purchases the class because purchasing a class makes it Guaranteed to Run. However, most requests to resit via Live Video Conference will be immediately approved. Once this happens we can allow you to resit in class or enable you to retake the training via Live Video Conference through your computer. If you request to resit you will also need to show that you have submitted your application to the Project Management Institute to take your Exam. Please note that you should take your appointment to resit seriously. If you fail to give notice that you cannot attend prior to training, you may not receive further resitting opportunities. If the project materials have changed you may request a complete set of materials for $99 (plus shipping and handling where applicable as well as plus tax where applicable) or you will continue to use the materials you have from your previous class and add your own notes. If the Exam has changed you will need to replace your materials in order to attend class. Your success is our priority. After six months from the first day of training, if you still want to participate in training you will pay 65% of the current class price which will again give you up to six months of training from the first new initial day of training. You will also get new materials. After 12 months from your first day of training with us you will need to pay full price for the class if you wish to retake it. If you fail the Exam 3 times you will need to wait a year before taking the Exam again. In this case, SmartPath LLC will allow you to resit your training up to two times after this time provided that you do this within 14 months of your last Exam. In order to qualify you need to take the Exam 3 times within the first 6 months. You will need to show proof that you took the Exam 3 times in order to participate in this offer. If the Exam or materials have changed you will also be required to purchase new materials in order to fully participate in class. See above for details.
