In 2010 PMI® finished a Roles Delineation Study:

The information gathered in this study is now part of the PMP® Certification Exam since August 31, 2011. This information is to help you understand the roles, task and responsibilities of the project managers only!

Audience: This class is designed for project managers who have already had training in overall project management certification training, Overview of Project Management Foundations or Project Management training of some sort. If you have taken a class from SmartPath LLC since June/July/August 2011 you may have already had this training included.

If you have a PMP® credential, then this class will update the project management role area of your training. You will receive 3 PDUs.

This class also provides a separate update for the roles, tasks and responsibilities of the project managers which is the New PMP® Exam add-on portion. This Exam began on August 31, 2011 and is likely to continue to June or July 2013. If your training did not include this area, it is important that you understand it. There are 60 Exam questions coming from this area.
