This PMP® Class is taught over four days. This class fulfill the 35 hours of PMP® Prep required by PMI before you can seek PMP® Exam Approval. There are 37.5 hours of training in all.

The PMP® Class Study is based on PMBOK® Guide, Version 4. Version 5 is expected to be in the market in late 2012 and the Exam based on that version will not be available until the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2013.

This is a small class for easier and faster learning. You will cover everything you need to know in order to pass PMI's PMP® exam as well as increasing your proficiency in Project Management.

Project Certification Prep Class Schedule - The Project Management Knowledge areas are divided into 4 sections for each day of training. Over the four days you will go over the Knowledge Areas Scheduled for the day, the Process Groups, Inputs, Outputs, Tools & Techniques, Definitions, & roles, tasks and responsibilities of project managers. Reviews are all part of your training.

Summary of PMP® Course Work

1. SmartPath LLC covers the 5 process groups, the 9 knowledge areas in those groups, the 42 processes, all the inputs and outputs, and we go into quite a lot of detail for tools and techniques, and roles, tasks and responsibilities of Project Managers. If you have gaps in your project experience these will be filled in for you.

2. Our PMP® prep course materials cover everything you need to pass the exam. There are lots of illustrations and examples plus 12 laminated workflows that show inputs, outputs, tools and techniques along with other visuals that facilitate different learning styles. Visibility really helps with the portions that need memory work or deep understanding. You will do many exercises to help you understand the concepts for this Exam.

3. There are approximately 30-50 exam practice questions in each of the 9 knowledge areas which also include Code of Ethics questions. There are roles, tasks and responsibilities of the project manager in each knowledge area.

4. Throughout the training, there are lots of real life project examples based on experience which brings the class to life.

5. The Exam Review (Practice Exam)is part of the training on the last day. The purpose is to see what you know at this point in time and what you need to work on. There are 150 questions and a checklist and pointers on how to pass the Exam. If you are taking the Exam the next day we are looking for high scores. If you are taking the Exam the next day you will be studying every possible spare moment up until the Exam.
