The Current PMP® Certification Exam:

The PMP® exam content distribution is shown below. The code of conduct is now part of the 5 Process Groups and distributed throughout with Exam Questions.

(1) Initiating 13%
(2) Planning 24%
(3) Executing 30%
(4) Monitoring & Controlling 25%
(5) Closing 8%.

In the words of the PMI®’s email received July 19, 2011, "The PMP® RDS (Role Delineation Study) is the foundation on which this professional certification is based....The RDS defines what project managers do, how often they do it and how important their work is."

If the project manager doesn't understand his or role, tasks and responsibilities, how can they manage a project?

Next PMBOK® Guide Will be Version 5

There is not going to be a new PMBOK® Guide (Version 5) until late 2012. It has been confirmed that the Exam Based on Version 5 will not take place until June or July of 2013.
