Location: 2010 Corporate Ridge, Suite 700, McLean, VA 22102
Audience: This class is designed for project managers who have already had training in overall project management training, foundations or fundamentals. If you have a PMP® credential, then this class will update the project management role area of your training, and you will receive 3 PDUs for this training.
Class Objectives
(1) Understand the project management roles within the 5 Process Groups
(2) Acquire knowledge that you can apply on the job immediately
(3) Acquire knowledge that will help you pass the new PMP® Exam area that is now a part of the Exam questions and represents 60 questions.
(4) Acquire project management knowledge that updates your project management skills and gives you 3 PDUs if you are credentialed.
If you studied for the PMP® Exam that ended August 30, 2011, and did not take it. This training creates the understanding you need from this area to pass the new Exam. In other words, this class provides a separate update for the roles, tasks and responsibilities of the project managers which is the New PMP® Exam add-on portion. Thenew Exam began on August 31, 2011 and is likely to continue to June or July 2013.
You Will Receive:
(1) Certificate of completion for 3 hours that you can use towards satisfying partially the formal education for project management or for PDU training if you have a credential. PDU#: Catchup
(2) 3 hours of training
(3) Understanding of the project manager's roles, tasks and responsibilities throughout the project within the five Process Groups.
