More about SmartPath LLC's Process-Driven Time-Based Laminated Project Management Workflow Charts
These workflow charts are a visual aid for start-to-end project visibility, providing sequential flow of activities, metrics identifiers, intelligent paths between the tasks, and also show integrated links.
These workflow diagrams describe each knowledge area's activities in a sequential flow from left to right. This makes it easier to follow the process. Each activity is presented with input, output and deliverables. The input, output and deliverables are clearly identified and labeled. These visual presentations are easy to follow in their respective knowledge area and provide execution aid to the PM. These workflows enable PM's to see the deliverables before and after each activity. This provides visibility to the PM to determine if a deliverable is critical, dependent or independent before and after each activity. This also shows whether or not the activity needs to be completed immediately or whether it can be delayed. This visual aid also depicts activities that may not be necessary to complete in a small-scaled project. However, it provides the metrics that will differentiate the task the PM does not have to do based on the value of the project. The PM can use a whiteboard marker as a reminder for him/her to come back to complete the unfinished task.
