A project manager is an individual who has taken on the responsibilities of managing a project that include participating with the appropriate stakeholders to create the project plan according to the stated project objectives and other inputs as well as keeping the stakeholders informed at every stage of the project. There are start-up roles and roles that fall within the 5 process groups that influence the way processes are managed directly or indirectly.
